1970s BELL MOTORCYCLE HELMET CALIFORNIA DRAG RACING TOPTEX BUCO R/T HONDA VESPA
Here is a VINTAGE 1960s-1970s? BELL Motorcycle helmet! This is a real deal classic original and I BELIEVE was made in Long Beach California! WOW!
It includes the helmet with chin strap as shown. You can see evidence of the small round old lower decal. Has a larger decal on the rear as well as the small decals on the inside. (hard to read) I am not an expert on these and got this one just like you see it. BE SURE to look at all pics and email with any questions BEFORE you buy!
Wear it while riding your vintage Harley Davidson or Indian motorcycle, Rupp mini bike, etc. Display it with your vintage drag racing car or hang it up inside your hot rod or rat rod! THESE ARE SO COOL! This is awesome! "Period Correct" stuff is awesome to display with a vintage bike. You just dont find stuff like this these days.
The decal on the inside says size M. I wear a large. I popped this on my head and it fits me. This one measures approx 23 1/2" from the left lower ear side, over the top, to the bottom lower right ear side. Measures approx 18 1/2" from the top of the forehead, over the helmet to the bottom back of the helmet. (its a little hard to measure) BE SURE to compare before you bid to be sure this will work for you. I wear a size large.
I got this one just like you see it. Did a very minimal cleaning to it. It will look nicer with detailing. The material on the inside is partially missing. Includes a FREE BONUS snap on sun visor that was attached to this helmet. (needs a serious cleaning)
It does have some chips wear etc but that only adds to the patina and overall COOLNESS of this one! The inside will have to be restored. (very typical) BE SURE to check out all pics and email with any questions regarding condition before you bid.
