WWII British Dispatch Rider Steel Helmet 1942 BMB Original WWII British Military Dispatch Motorcycle Rider Steel Helmet 1942 BMB Original. Clearly marked inside leather liner 'BMB 1942'& what appears to be a number (6 3/4?) inside a shield but the fraction part of number has a scuff. No dents in shell, interior leather liner is intact- still has string ties holding cloth tabs. Also leather chinstrap has a metal buckle(disabled-see photo with threads) but strap was upgraded with a working metal snap closure & metal peg -that shows corrosion but may have never been used. This helmet is 79 years old and was in storage- needs tlc - liner is dry but complete. Outer shell possibly very old repaint? Located in USA. Study all photos carefully, in addition read description.
